Officer Jarod Dean was laid to rest on January 24, 2009 at Calvary Cemetery

A Village of Boston Heights Police Officer Jarod Dean, 24 was killed in the line of duty Monday, January 19th, 2009 at 5:30 am on Rt.8 in Boston Heights as he exited his zone car to remove debris from the highway which was left from a previous mva.  Officer Dean was on the job for only 6 months before this tragedy and is survived by his parents and his brother who is a Police Officer in Hudson Ohio.

Please remember Officer Dean, his family, and his partners in your thoughts and prayers.  The CPPA has offered our assistance in any way possible to the Boston Heights Police Department.  We will keep you updated as to when and where the services for Officer Dean will be held.  Until then, please be safe and continue to look out for each other.
